Superbowl 4 Pre-game show

Berman: Welcome to the final game of the 2012 RedZone SD 2.1 post-season and of course it is Superbowl IV and what a matchup we have this year as the Charrs will be taking on the Panthers for the deciding game of who will wear the rings this year. Will it be the Charrs who had to fight through some tough teams or will it be the 18 and 0 Panthers who look to do what few teams can, a perfect season and post-season with a Superbowl victory. We are just about 3 hours till kickoff and our own Erin Andrews has some insight for us today.

Erin Andrews: That's right as you said it Chris, I spoke with the coach of the Panthers earlier and he told me that his message to his players was that this was just any other game, except throw the stats out the window and just play to win, regardless of what the stats say at the end he just wants his offense to score points and his defense to make big plays like they have all season. Back to you Chris.

Berman: Thank you Erin. Well that will wrap up our pregame show as we have several exciting events coming up so stick around for the party after this.

Conference Championship Post-Game Recap

Berman: Well after a long season the NC and AC conference champions have been decided. Our first game was a thriller right down to the end as it featured the Nitro Shock against the undefeated Venice Panthers and could the Panthers stay undefeated and advance to the Superbowl. Third quarter and it seems to be all Panthers as they take a 10 point lead with 11 minutes left in the quarter. But the Shock have plans of their own as they put up 7 of their own and trim the deficit to 3. The panthers are able to increase their lead back to 6 with 5:42 left in the 3rd before the Shock put up a field goal in the 4th and trim the deficit to 10-13 with the panthers still leading. The panthers would hold strong and hold the ball for the final 5 minutes of play and will enter Superbowl IV at 18-0.

Berman: Game 2 featured the Spartans at the Charrs and this one had as all surprised as the Charrs would go on to win 19-10 and advance to Superbowl IV.

Divisional Post-Game Show SD 2.1 League

Berman: Well as we called them in our pre-game show, we had exciting games at least on the scoring part. Not only that but our experts were 4 for 4 on picking the winners, how about that feat eh? So lets get down to it. Game one featured the All-Stars at the Charrs and as we expected the Charrs would put up a lot of points in this game as the Stars would turn the ball over twice and would give up another 27 points on defense to fall 7-41. Game 2 had the NC West Division winners the Nitro Shock @ Havelock 507 Crew, and as we predicted the Shock would not be denied points this week as they amass 41 points of their own and advance to the conference championship by a score of 41-6. The Admirals would fall 0-15 @ the Panthers as we expected from the way they played the WC game against Arizona. Our final game of the DP had the Bears hosting the Spartans and the Bears were no match for the Spartans as they put up 49 points to the Bears 3. So here now are the teams in the CC and our predictions.

Shock @ Panthers- Panthers should have this game as the Shock have only had one decent win against a very weak Divisional opponent while the Panthers look to stay undefeated.

Spartans @ Charrs- Spartans have it but not without a fight.

Divisional Weekend Pre-game Show S4 SD 2.1

Berman: Ok all Divisional playoff time is a few hours away so lets do a little warm up shall we, maybe even get some inside info from a couple of players on what they do to prepare for these games. We'll start off with a quick recap on who survived WC weekend. The Plymouth Admirals advanced on a 7 point win over the visiting Cardinals who could muster all of 3 points, while their division rival the Nitro Shock squeaked out a 1 point victory while scoring 0 touchdowns. The All-Stars advanced by 3 points while the Spartans put a 38 spot and held their opponent to 0 points. So here is how the Divisional matchups look along with our experts picks on who wins and the reasoning.

L.A. All-Stars vs. Charrs- Charrs win this one. They gave up just one game all season and one touchdown while the Stars barely managed to squeak out a 3 point win in the WC round.

Nitro Shock vs Havelock 507 Crew- The Shock take this one in what should be an even matchup, and although the Shock did not manage a touchdown in their WC win, that should reverse itself in this game

Admirals vs Panthers- Panthers should have this one, the Admirals had an easy opponent in their first game but now they face a team that was undefeated in the regular season.

Spartans vs Bears- Spartans should have another win as they look to prove that their 38 point win was no fluke.

Berman: Now we have a special treat we have 2 quarterbacks for you today from the Admirals and the Shock. First we asked Arnold Rohr of the Shock how he prepares for big games.

Rohr: Well quite simple really, I go to the local pub and I order a couple rounds of drinks to loosen up before a 3 mile jog through the countryside. I get home, toss a football around with the guys to stay focused and then I go to church and do a lot of praying, mostly to not get sacked.

Berman: Simple way to stay focused for a big game, I do the same before a recap show except I eat a big meal rather than go for a big run. Here's Antoine Hamer of the Admirals on how he does it.

Hamer: I like to start off with a healthy breakfast and then a nice long workout with the trainer. Afterwords I tend to watch games of the other team to get a feel for their style and then incorporate that into the weeks practice. Simple stuff like that really, I'm not a big runner or drinker.

Berman: Should be fun to watch these two men play in their respective games, and we should have some exciting games all around.

Wild Card Weekend

Berman: Hello everyone and welcome back to RZCenter, and with the regular season over we apologize for the downtime while our staff went on strike but we are back with WildCard weekend updates so lets get down to it shall we. Three of the four games this weekend had very close finishes all within 7 points or less in 2 cases. Our first matchup featured the 11-5 Arizona Cardinals taking on the Plymouth Admirals, this game was a close one as the Admirals struck first in the 2nd quarter with a 21 yard field goal but as the Cardinals always do, they tie it with a 35 yarder of their own with 50 seconds left in the half. Neither team could make it to the endzone until the 4th with the Admirals putting up the deciding points with a 6 yard run by Bradbury. Here are the interviews from the game

Cardinals HC: Well we gave it our all hoping we could make it to the second round, but we were beaten by a better team. All we can do now is look to pick up some guys in the draft and look to next season. Obviously a disappointment that we couldn't get into the endzone like we have all season but it is a good learning lesson for all involved. We wish luck to the Admirals in the Divisional game.

Admirals HC: Well we were hoping for more offense but I think for the fans this was a better win not only against a good team but also as far as interest was concerned I think we delivered. Not going to lie the Cardinals put up a good fight and hopefully we will see them again next season.

Ditka: No bad blood between either teams which is always a good sign.

Berman: Right you are Mike, ok onto game 2 which featured the All-stars against the GalactikDemons. and this game had two big defensive plays one by each team. First quarter action and 10 seconds into the game and Mendiburu for the Demons returns it 35 yards for a pick-6, however that is all they would score as a field goal and then with under 2 minutes in the 4th, the All-stars get a pick-6 of their own and advance to the Divisional game by a score of 10-7

Berman: The game everyone was watching featured the NC west division winners the Nitro Shock at home against the Porto Engineers and what a game this was as the Engineers looked to be in control but dont count the shock out so soon as they come from an 8 point deficit in the fourth to win it 15-14 on the strength of 5 field goals on the day.

Ditka: Not much to say about game 4 as it was a 38-0 shutout by the Spartans.
